I am currently the Director of Carrier Relations in Canada for Sinch. This year, I am pleased to serve as the 2025 Mobile Content Council (MCC) chairman for the Canadian Telecommunications Association. This is a peer-elected position. The MCC provides a unified, open forum for messaging industry participants to network, develop business opportunities, and share lessons from other markets. This enables the continued growth of Mobile Network Operator messaging channels in Canada. I will be working to finalize the requirements and implementation of a Canadian 10DLC registry, deploying RCS in Canada, creating best practices for network security, and developing industry-wide Know Your Customer requirements. I will also work with the CTA and the Mobile Ecosystem Forum to plan our Canadian Industry events in July.
I served as the lead product manager for the RCS channel in the Cisco Webex CPaaS product suite. I also led the development and market readiness for Branded Text. At RingCentral, I led the development of the first in product Live Chat iteration with sales and support. I also created and facilitated a winning hackathon challenge that resulted in ease of use improvements for the SMB on-boarding process, reducing 15 steps and pop-up screens to 3. Another product I led teams to design and develop from prototype to GA is the CoreNexa WebRTC client and app on android and iOS. CoreNexa features I managed design and development of were calling, messaging, contacts and users, meetings, voicemail, three way calling, and iOS interactions.
While leading development of the RCS channel within the Cisco Webex CPaaS product suite, my teams completed the integration and release of the first set of Rich Messaging programs with a Fortune 50 US wireless carrier. My teams have also developed a public facing API to match the standard agreed upon by GSMA member mobile network operators. This API works with RCS messaging nodes in the Webex Connect CPaaS flow builder together and interface with real time reporting summaries. Cisco's RCS API and interface is part of a solution that allows businesses to build multi-channel messaging programs specific to communication use cases throughout the customer journey. From web forms to email to 2 factor authentication to purchasing, RCS and other rich communication services can be part of any enterprise touchpoint ecosystem.
